Mr. Nekkanti Haripavan is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering with over 12 years of academic and industry experience. He holds an M.Tech in Remote Sensing from JNTU Kakinada and is pursuing his Ph.D. at NIT Tiruchirappalli, specializing in Urban Heat Island studies using geospatial techniques. His professional background includes working as a GIS Engineer and serving in reputed engineering institutions.

Mr. Haripavan has published around 16 SCI/Scopus-indexed Q1,Q2,Q3 research papers, authored two books, and holds five patents in sustainable construction materials and innovative concrete technologies. His areas of expertise span Remote Sensing, GIS, Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Materials, groundwater and soil studies, and geospatial modelling. He has undergone specialized training at NRSC–ISRO and Google Earth Engine and is proficient in tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, ERDAS, AutoCAD, SWAT, and SketchUp. Known for his interdisciplinary approach, he contributes actively to teaching, research, consultancy, and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Mr. Nekkanti Haripavan is an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering with research expertise in Remote Sensing, GIS, Environmental Engineering and machine-learning-based geospatial modelling. He has published 16 SCI/Scopus-indexed papers in Q1 and Q2 journals, authored two books, and holds five patents in sustainable concrete and innovative construction technologies. His work spans Urban Heat Island analysis, biosorbent-based water treatment, LULC mapping, groundwater modeling, and sustainable material development, reflecting a strong interdisciplinary and innovation-oriented research profile.
