The Department of Mathematics in association with the Mathletes Club organized on the occasion of the 138ᵗʰ Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Srinivasa Ramanujan on 22nd December 2025 at the A-Block Seminar Hall. The program began with a prayer song and floral tributes to Srinivasa Ramanujan, followed by welcoming the dignitaries, faculty members and students.
As part of the celebrations, student-centric events such as the Math Project Expo, Math Riddle Master and Treasure Hunt were conducted. The winners received the First, the Second, and the Third prizes along with mementos for encouraging their creativity, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Dr. T. S. R. Murthy, Head of the Department of Mathematics, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of mathematics in real-life applications and motivating students to think beyond the regular curriculum. Faculty members also shared insights on the significance of mathematics, and the program concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr.P.L.R. Kameswari, acknowledging the efforts of the organizers, participants, and all those who contributed to the success of the event.
