My research interests within the Environmental Engineering and Management specialization encompass a broad range of critical areas aimed at addressing and mitigating environmental challenges.
Investigating and developing innovative technologies for wastewater treatment, with a focus on advanced treatment processes such as membrane filtration, electrochemical treatment, and biological nutrient removal. Exploring technologies for converting solid waste into energy through thermal processes or anaerobic digestion, contributing to renewable energy generation and reducing reliance on traditional fossil fuels. Researching advanced monitoring techniques and mathematical modeling to assess and predict air quality, enabling the identification of pollution sources and the development of effective control strategies.
