Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women (A) was bidding farewell to 2024 gracefully, and looking forward to welcoming the New Year 2025 more hopefully for good things to happen with the inauguration and hosting of TEDxSVECW. The very first series of talks ‘‘Sea of Voices’ began on 14th December 2024.
The faculty coordinator, Dr.G.J.V.Prasad warmly welcomed all the guests and enthusiastic participants, followed by II B.Tech CSE-CS student organizer, Ms.T.Sreekari who greeted everyone and introduced the journey of TEDxSVECW. 11 speakers had their interesting, informative as well as educational talks. The speeches began with our Chairman Shri K.V.Vishnu Raju. He talked about his own life experiences with his talk: “Inspiration over comparison: A Journey over Legacy and Leadership. Other eminent people Dr.Nikhil Varma, Mr.Anurag Mittal, Mr.Sunny Bhatia, Mr. Naim Khan, Mr. Abhishek Waghmare, Mr. Arjun Mishra, Dr. Nancy Dhiman, Ms. Anuvamshi Shetty, Ms. Pooja Vegesna & Ms. Ashmita Karnani had their prominent talks, ranging from eye and dental care to business practices to food technology.
The event wrapped up with an address by Mr. Akash Rao Mallareddy, Curator of TEDxSVECW, who thanked the speakers, organizers, and audience for their contributions to making the day a grand success. Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, Principal of SVECW, delivered an inspiring closing address, emphasizing the importance of such platforms in fostering intellectual growth. Dr. G. Ratnakanth, Faculty Co-Coordinator of TEDxSVECW, concluded the event with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the collective effort that made TEDxSVECW 2024 an unforgettable experience.
TEDxSVECW 2024 was a resounding success, leaving attendees with a treasure trove of ideas and inspiration to take forward. The event truly lived up to its theme of “Sea of Voices” igniting a spark for innovation and collaboration in every participant.
